Mactan is a coral island located in the Cebu Province of the Philippines. The surrounding waters are teeming with vibrantly colored marine life — a variety of manta rays, sharks, eels, fish, crabs and more. Waterfalls, forests, emerald waters and long stretches of white-sand beaches attract thousands of sun-loving travelers every year.

Popular attractions and destinations in the area include Nalusuan Island Marine Sanctuary, Lapu-Lapu Shrine, Magellan Shrine and Hilutungan Island. Snorkeling, diving, swimming, kayaking and paraw sailing are among the most prominent recreational activities. Visitors are treated to classic Filipino cuisine influenced by Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Mediterranean flavors.

On this DreamTrip to Cebu, Philippines, each Platinum Member will be treated to an exclusive, international buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant on Day 2 (7-9 p.m.). Life is great when you’re a Platinum Member!

Day 1

Arrive at the airport and meet our representative for your transfer to the hotel (representative available from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
Transfer to the hotel at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. or 6 p.m.
Check into the hotel at any time after 3 p.m.
9 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.
Enjoy a welcome drink.
7-9 p.m.: Welcome dinner at the hotel with complimentary soft drinks, juices and local beer. Dinner will be a buffet in the hotel function room or a set-menu meal in the hotel restaurant, depending on the number of guests.

Day 2

6-7 a.m.: International buffet breakfast at the hotel.
7-7:30 a.m.: Meet in the hotel lobby.
7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Full-day island-hopping tour; includes lunch, transportation and gratuities for your tour driver and guide. In the event of inclement weather or other conditions, this tour may be moved to Day 3, or we may replace it with an alternate tour. Please see Additional Information for more details.
• 7:30-8:30 a.m.: Transfer to the Mactan wharf.
• 8:30-9 a.m.: Board the boat.
• 9-9:30 a.m.: Sea cruise to Hilutungan Island (about 30 minutes); snorkeling gear, towels and 2 bottles of mineral water will be provided on board for the full day of activities.
• 9:30-10:30 a.m.: Arrive at Hilutungan Island Marine Sanctuary.
• 10:30 a.m. –2:30 p.m.: Transfer to Nalusuan Island Marine Sanctuary.
• Plated picnic lunch, including seafood, barbecued pork and chicken, and 1 round of bottled mineral water or soft drink. Lunch includes an entertaining musical serenade.
• Relaxing, swimming and snorkeling on the island.
• 2:30-3 p.m.: Transfer by boat back to the wharf at Mactan (snorkeling gear and beach towel will be collected on board).
• 3-5pm: Return to the hotel.
The rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 3

6-10 a.m.: International buffet breakfast at the hotel.
A day at your leisure.

Day 4

6-10 a.m.: International buffet breakfast at the hotel.
The morning at your leisure until your checkout and your flight.
Check out of the hotel by noon.
Transfer to the airport at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m.

In the event of inclement weather or other conditions, the tour on Day 2 may be replaced with a full-day Cebu city tour. Stops on this alternate tour may include Mactan Shrine, Fort San Pedro, Magellan’s Cross, Santo Nino Basilica, the Heritage of Cebu Monument, the Jesuit House and more. This tour will include lunch, dinner and transportation.

Cancellation Policy*: If you cancel 46 days or more prior to your trip, you’ll get a full refund. If you cancel within 45 days of your trip, your trip will not be refunded.

*This cancellation policy is subject to rules and regulations in applicable jurisdictions in which our travel supplier is based. Therefore, in the event of conflict between the cancellation policy displayed here and cancellation terms in supplier booking terms, the provisions of the booking terms will prevail.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 45 days or more before the start date of your trip, there will be no fee for the name change(s). If you change any name(s) on your booking 44 to 31 days before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.

Welcome DreamTrip Eligibility Policy: The new member rate is available for members who book their first Welcome DreamTrip within 90 days of joining the DreamTrips community. The special new-member rate only applies to your first Welcome DreamTrip booking, and only if booked within the first 90 days of membership. Members not in that window can book a Welcome DreamTrip for the higher, existing member rate, which can be viewed in the drop-down menu. If you book your Welcome DreamTrip at the new member rate but are outside of your 90-day window of eligibility, we will email you to collect the difference between the new member rate and the member rate. You must pay the difference within 72 hours or your reservation will be canceled.

Members can’t combine DreamTrips Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process.

Hotel/resort credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your departure. Member is responsible for paying any taxes that may be added to items purchased with hotel/resort credit.

In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

Make sure that your passport and visa, if applicable, are up-to-date before you leave! It’s important to double check that you have all the identification and other documentation required by the specific country you’re traveling to. In many countries, passports and visas must be valid for 6 months or longer after the trip end date. If you are unable to obtain the required identification and other documentation, the Cancellation Policy for this DreamTrip will apply.
